I stopped here for lunch after a dental visit and I was very pleased. I had read about this restaurant for a couple of years, but kept forgetting to make a visit; I am glad I finally did.

I had the Kal Bi Gui lunch plate with a side of Kimchi. The price is definitely right and you get a sizeable amount of food. The Kal Bi was tender and juicy, the salad had a nice, spicy dressing on it, the rice and tofu were cooked perfectly, and the side of Kimchi was a great addition. The California Roll was OK, a little too much mayo, but I am not a mayo on sushi kind of guy. I am looking forward to trying their sushi menu at another date, as it is lengthy and has good reviews. Of note, the complimentary Jalapeno dipping sauce was really great and I was actually dipping my sushi in it.

Definitely worth a visit, certainly for lunch.

This place is great!

Tucked away in the strip-mall on 10th and Grangeville, next to Mediterranean Grill, this is a unique addition to Hanford. The Portuguese products are pretty neat (piri-piri, linguica, etc), the cookies are good, the “horns” are good, but the secret to this place is the Portuguese donuts. They are only made on Saturdays and they are well worth the visit! The donuts taste like a cross between a normal donut and fried dough (funnel cakes for you odd balls), with a touch of citrus in them. Awesome!

Do check this place out, but remember, they only takes cash or check.

This place as just OK. I only did take-out, so I can only comment on the food.

The General’s Chicken was a little different than I am used to. The sauce was much more liquid and not as thick as at other restaurants. I don’t know if that means it has less sugar in it, or something else, but it made the dish “feel” different. The chicken itself was not crispy as it should have been and as it was described, but the sauce was good enough. However, for a “spicy” dish, it was not spicy.

The hot & sour soup was good and you receive PLENTY of it! It is certainly meant to be shared, or eaten as a meal by itself.

The food is average overall, but I do believe they deliver; one of the only Chinese places in the area to do so. That is something to consider.

This place used to be my go-to place, until Figaros opened. That being said, I still like this place and go back from time to time.

You can not go wrong with the Carnitas here; they are good. In fact, I think this is the first place I tired Carnitas. The Fish Tacos are also pretty good. Stay away from the Margarita pitcher; if you do the math, it is not a good deal. That being said, they are pretty darn good and it is worth ordering one. They also have various specials during the week, including Ceviche.

With the outdoor seating, this place is nice on a summer night. Check it out.

Terrible. F. This place does not deserve to use the great name and reputation of Boston in its title.

The pizza here has absolutely zero relation to Boston style pizza (a subset of New York style). Zero. Nil. None. It is greasy, the sauce and crust are mediocre at best, and as with all too many sub-standard pizza places, they use way too much cheese.

Do not waste your time, I can not make it any more clear.

I like this place, a lot. It is my go-to Mexican restaurant in the area. They have fast service and a variety of menu options to choose from. There is also a selection of beer if you see fit.

The Shrimp Tacos and Fish Tacos are really good, especially with a side of Pinto Beans. That being said, my favorite, by far, is the Chile Verde Enchilada plate; it is great. Beware, they serve a lot of food when you take into considering the rice and beans. I am also a fan of their variety of freshly made salsas. There was a new one the last time I went that was straight-up Habanero. Talk about spicy!

Check it out the next time you are in the Target shopping complex and you feel like Mexican.

Geta Xpress reminds me of some of the cheaper sushi restaurants in Japan. In fact, its whole concept is designed around “Japanese fast food”.

The food does the trick. If you come here looking for a top of the line, sushi bar experience, then you will be sadly disappointed. If you are looking for fast and cheap Japanese food to satisfy a craving, then you have come to the right place. My normal meal consists of the Sukiyaki Bento Box with a Spicy Tuna Roll and a couple selections of Nigiri. It is a lot of food for a decent price.

Normally I would go to other places for sushi, but when I am in the mood for some Sukiyaki with sushi on the side for a reasonable price, I stop here.
