I actually like this place, a lot. It’s a down-home, small-town, American restaurant. One would call it diner style. To start, the service has always been good every time I’ve been there. The menu has everything: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The breakfasts are great and huge. The Big Burrito is delicious, especially with a healthy helping of fresh salsa and Tabasco sauce. The cheese burgers are huge in their own right and will certainly satisfy the hungriest of appetites. My wife swears by the Chicken Parmesean. The menu is very affordable, to include lowered prices for senior citizens. The Vineyard Restaurant is an excellent choice for classic American food, in a nice, homey setting.

Saigon Pho & Rolls

A Vietnamese restaurant in Lemoore? Impossible.

The first time I ever had Vietnamese food was in college and I instantly liked it. Ever since, due to the lack of cultural diversity at most locations coincident with Naval Air Stations, I have had a hard time finding it. Well, lucky for us, one popped up in Lemoore. The family is originally from San Francisco and they transported their restaurant business to Lemoore when their son ended up stationed here.

I love the food and its emphasis on Southern Vietnamese cuisine. The Gui Cuon (Fresh Shrimp Spring Rolls), Pho Tai Chin (Beef Noodle Soup with Rare & Well Done Beef), Bun Cha Gio, This Nuong, and Tom Nuong (Vermicellli Noodle with Egg Roll, Grilled Pork, and Grilled Shrimp, in order) are all excellent. My preferred method is to add enough Sriracha sauce such that the broth has a nice red hue. Delicious!

Do not discount this place because it is located in an old gas station. It is legit and worth the culinary adventure.

La Iguana

Looking for Mexican food, but don’t want to drive to Hanford? Don’t bother with Reyna’s, check out La Iguana. This place is pretty good. The service was great and the server was very helpful and friendly. The servings are massive, which is standard for Mexican restaurants in the area, and the food is good. I had the pork chimichanga and I could barely finish half of it. I would come back here again.

Reyna’s Restaurant

Reyna’s is popular with those that live in Lemoore and I am convinced it is because there is a lack of options and they do not want to drive to Hanford. The food is average, at best.

The inside is very large and spacious. There is plenty of seating and they have a sizeable bar.

The service, in general, is pretty good. I have never really had an issue here.

The food is no different than any other bland, invariant Mexican restaurant in the area. I see nothing that sets this place apart from the pack, other than the fact that they have massive burritos. If that is what does it for you, then by all means, check it out. Otherwise, you would be better served going to La Iguana or driving to Hanford and dining at Figaros or El Tarasco.
